Sky Wax is a stylish variation of Vlisco's Dutch Wax, with a dark overtone and shimmering embellishment that contrasts with the darker color underneath. Sky Wax is designed with a unique wax printing technique in the world: each piece is designed with unparalleled and extraordinary care and precision. First, a liquid wax design is printed on cotton. Then, a base dye like indigo is applied and absorbed into the fabric around the wax, leaving an intense, unalterable color. After going through an average of 25 steps in the design process, each Sky Wax fabric is dipped in a dark shade before the finishing touch: a metallic embellishment. The resulting collection of prints offers an array of chic and radiant styles.
